Spanish Modern is characterized by elaborately carved decorations surrounding windows, entrances, and cornices. Some defining characteristics of Spanish architecture: curvilinear gable, heavy tile roof, arcaded entrance or porch, wrought iron grillwork, ornately carved details, round arched windows, straight-headed windows, and bell tower stucco/plaster finish.
